V. Justice (公平)
Jakkuran is a low-ranking Shinigami who travels to the human realm some time after the Death Note series. He was promoted to a higher rank after the deaths of Gelus and Rem.
Jakkuran is a cold, calculating Shinigami. He tends not to associate himself with other Shinigami very much. He enjoys watching the human world, seeing it as more entertaining than what goes on in the Shinigami Realm. Jakkuran is similar to Ryuk in that he likes seeing interesting things happen, but he is decidedly more amoral than Ryuk. Jakkuran likes to observe; he likes it less when he has to actively do anything. He does not consider Shinigami to be superior to humans, and he likes communicating with humans more.
Jakkuran was a low-ranking Shinigami during the events of the Death Note series. He rose to the thirteenth rank after Gelus and Rem died. He likely would have risen higher in the rankings if not for Raght appearing and taking the fourth rank. However, this did not bother Jakkuran, as he thought Shinigami ranks were pointless to begin with.
Jakkuran appeared in the last chapter of this arc near the portal Ryuk and Raght had used to travel to Earth. He was searching for his missing Death Note when Elir Mepherik informed him that Ryuk, mistaking Jakkuran's Death Note for the one belonging to the deceased Baloucher, had taken Jakkuran's notebook to Earth and likely given it to a human.
Annoyed to learn of this, Jakkuran nevertheless resolved to travel to Earth to retrieve his Death Note.
