Samuel Baskin is a character featured in Death Note 2 : Rebirth. He is inspired from Kisuke Urahara from 'Bleach'. He is the mysterious fonder behind Niemands hideout. He is a business man who is only interested in money. Though he could hide his identity for a long time, he ends up getting killed. Before his death, J manipulates him into writing his own name in the death note.
Samuel Baskin Heart Attack. Before he dies, he goes to his bank, to get the notebook in his banksafe. At 20:30, he writes his own name into the death note and dies 40 seconds later.
